Homework/Review - Please review all work for "What is a Winner?" in the literature book, pages 790 - 801. Test on Wednesday.

Go to the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Library website and continue with The Basic Steps in the Research Process. Review number four Source Cards (correct your source cards if needed), read numbers five (Focus the Topic) and six (Write a Statement of Purpose).
1. Write down your ideas about how you are going to focus your topic for the research paper, due Friday in class.
2. Write a statement of purpose for class on Friday. 

Log into Cambridge Rindge & Latin Library website that we viewed in class. Go to the Research Process page and review the guidelines for Key Words # 2. Create your own list of Key Words to guide your research for your last research paper due June 8th.

Homework - Study for test on Thursday Power Plus Vocabulary Lesson # 15. Information - During vacation you will review the list of topics and pick one to do for the (5) term. The paper will be due June 8th and will count twice, one towards term (5) 30% and the final exam, 25%.

Information - Test on Tuesday April 10 on "Names and Nombres", and test on Thursday on Vocabulary Power Plus Lesson #14. Please review your answers to the questions for Names and your vocabulary lesson #14.

Information/Homework

Homework - Newspaper article summaries are due on Monday: three (3) articles, three (3) paragraph summary for each, each paragraph has to be at least five (5) sentences long or you will not receive any credit.

Bring in your Rough Draft of your research paper on Tuesday. We will do Peer Review like we did after the Harlem Renaissance. You may bring it in on Monday and I will hold it until Tuesday.
