 1. Explain what the Harlem Renaissance was.
 2. Chose two people from the list provided who played important roles in the Harlem Renaissance period compare/contrast their endeavors and accomplishments. Identify their strengths and weaknesses. Were both activists?  What type of influence do they do they have on today's society?

Research paper is worth 30% of your grade for the term.
FINAL PAPER IS DUE DECEMBER 20 BEFORE MIDNIGHT. PLEASE UP-LOAD YOUR FINAL PAPER BEFORE THEN. PAPERS ONE DAY LATE WILL HAVE 25% DEDUCTED, TWO DAYS 50%, AND THREE DAYS LATE 75% WILL BE DEDUCTED. NO CREDIT FOR WORK OVER THREE DAYS LATE.

Monday is the BPS Predictive Assessment test in your homeroom periods one and two. Tuesday pass in the work for chapters 6- 10 for The Giver. Wednesday pass in the all work for chapters one and two, types of genre, and answers to questions chapters one and two.
