Homework - Newspaper summaries (2) are due on Monday March 28.

MCAS Testing on Tuesday and Wednesday

The Great Read starts on April 1, 2010. The whole school will be reading Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.

Monday April 5, 2010 final on Walter Dean Myers The Young Landlords, the test will be worth 400 points. Please review your summaries of all the chapters.

Vocabulary

Study Power Plus Lesson number 10 for test on Thursday, March 26.
Put each vocabulary word in a sentence if you did not finish the assignment in class.

Purple Literature Book

In the Purple Literature book please read and do Your Writing Process pages 424 - 427.
All work is due Wednesday March 10.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, the work in the literature book and the newspapers will be due on Monday.

Please continue to memorize your poem you selected. Your presentation is March 18 -19 to your class. Practice, practice, practice!

Homework

Homework - Please review vocabulary for lesson 9 test on Thursday March 4. Review all vocabulary for lessons 7-8 for the review test on Thursday March 4.

Make sure you have all 20 of the chapters for The Young Landlords summarized and ready to be checked on Thursday.

Newspaper summaries (2) three paragraphs each, are due on Friday March 5.

Test

Reminder there is a test on Idioms on Tuesday, numbers 1 -10.

Read in Purple Literature Book the following stories; How the Animals Kept the Lions Away pages 554-556 answer all questions on page 557, The Wicked Weasel, pages 558-561 answer all questions on page 562 including Learning Option. All work is due Wednesday March 3, 2010.
