Homework - In the Boston Globe get two articles that interest you and cut them out. Glue or tape them into your notebook, write at least a three paragraph essay about each. The essay must contain why you found the article interesting and a summary of what it was about. A paragraph is at least five sentences long, if you write any less than that you will not receive credit for the paragraph.

Hello Grade 7 students, I'm sorry I was not able to start my ELA Blog earlier.

Homework due Wednesday -
Read the Boston Globe newspaper, pick two articles and write at least a three paragraph summary of each. Each summary must include why you picked it and what is important about it. Please cut out the article and include it on a separate sheet with your summary.

In addition, you will make an oral presentation on an article before the class, for a separate grade. You will be graded on how you present the material; voice, eye contact, and knowledge of the article.

Continue to work on your autobiography. Autobiography due no later than October 13, 2010. Reminder autobiography is worth 30% of your grade for the term.
