 2.   Continue to review your rough draft for your research paper. Check on-line for corrections of your paper if you did not get a chance to go over your paper with me. I will continue to go over papers in class on Friday. If you did not turn in a rough draft there is no way I can help to correct your mistakes.

Research paper is worth 30% of your grade for the term.
FINAL PAPER IS DUE DECEMBER 20 BEFORE MIDNIGHT. PLEASE UP-LOAD YOUR FINAL PAPER BEFORE THEN. PAPERS ONE DAY LATE WILL HAVE 25% DEDUCTED, TWO DAYS 50%, AND THREE DAYS LATE 75% WILL BE DEDUCTED. NO CREDIT FOR WORK OVER THREE DAYS LATE.

Homework - Major homework; up-load your rough draft to Turnitin.com before midnight, this is worth a test grade. Final draft has to be up-loaded on December 20 before midnight. PLEASE READ YOUR PAPER ALOUD AT LEAST TWICE BEFORE TURNING IT IN. PLEASE HAVE AN ADULT OR SOMEONE YOU TRUST READ YOUR PAPER BEFORE YOU TURN IT IN.

Monday is the BPS Predictive Assessment test in your homeroom periods one and two. Tuesday pass in the work for chapters 6- 10 for The Giver. Wednesday pass in the all work for chapters one and two, types of genre, and answers to questions chapters one and two.

Homework - Review pages 984 - 987 in the Literature Book. These pages are to be used as reference to work on your research project.
Wednesday we will listen to the story "The Last Dog" in class to review for the test on Thursday.

Homework - Please complete the worksheet I passed out on Thursday on The Giver. All work is to be kept together in a separate section in your binder or notebook for The Giver.
Please continue to work on research paper; the rough draft is due Thursday December 9, and the final is due December 16. Both papers have to be submitted on line to Turnitin.com.
